What should I do to prepare for the Audition?

  • Register and pay for the audition
  • Download the free audition packet - visual ensemble does not have an audition packet
  • Preparation!! Get the material early and practice! One of the key traits we look for is confidence. You can't be confident if you don't know your material! For the battery - the audition process will also include visual elements. We are looking for performers who can exhibit a high level of musical proficiency while moving. Start moving NOW! ALL performers should exhibit a high degree of flexibility. Adaptability is a huge element of performance.

Do you provide housing?

Audio Theater does provide housing during our standard rehearsal weekends.
PLEASE NOTE: For open audition weekends, if necessary, you will need to make your own housing arrangements.

What is the rehearsal and performance schedule for the season?

After auditions, there are rehearsals and/or performances every weekend for the duration of the season (mid-October to mid-April)
PLEASE NOTE: This is subject to change depending on changes in practice venues, additional performances, etc. But we will do our best to keep the schedule page up to date and accurate.
